So I know I said that I'd do a holiday themed Best of Youtube post, but as you can see that hasn't happened. The holidays were super busy for me this year. I feel really bad, but instead I'm just going to put a link to my Christmas playlist. It's kind of late, I know, but there are some really good songs on the playlist.

New Stuff

Like promised, I have once again redesigned the blog! I absolutely love the red background. What do you guys think?

I also added a Follow Me section to the sidebar. It has links to my other blogs and a couple of different sites I'm on. It also has a link to the brand new Completely Me tumblr account! I just made the account last week, and I'm loving tumblr. It's so quick and easy. I'll probably be updating it a lot more than I update this blog. Don't worry though, I still have plans for new posts, including a holiday themed The Best of YouTube. Stay tuned!

October and Updates

Happy October everyone! If you read my post last year, you will know that this is my favourite month. Unlike last year, when it was cold and rainy, this year it's sunny and warm out.

There are quite a few things that make this October special, besides the weather. Evanescence's new CD is coming out on the 11th. Skyres will be happy to know that Seizure by Kathy Reichs (the sequel to Virals) will be out on the 18th. On the 25th the newest House of Night and Vampire Diaries novels will be released.

Another exciting thing that happened this month; Skyres and I got VIP tickets to meet Starkid! For those of you that don't know, Starkid is the theatre group that did A Verry Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel. You should also check out their other show, Starship.

My favourite thing about October is definately Halloween! It's my absolute favourite holiday. Despite the fact that I'm 16, I'm going trick-or-treating this year. Skyres and I are going to be Death Eaters this year, and I've been practicing drawing my Dark Mark for weeks. I'm actually getting pretty good at it. Last week we made our wands and tomorrow we're going shopping for the rest of our costume.

In case you haven't noticed yet, I changed the blog design. If you don't like it don't worry, it's only for the month of October. I don't think I'm going to change it back to the old design though. It's time for something new; something Completely Me.

The Best of YouTube: Harry Potter

If you know me, you know that I am a major Harry Potter fan. I saw Deathly Hallows Part 2 on opening day (not at midnight though). I spent the week before that making a bracelet in all the house colours. I stayed up until five in the morning to get onto Pottermore early. I've read all of the books at least seven times. From reading my blog you should have figured out that I go on YouTube a lot. And of course I love watching Harry Potter videos. I've decided that it's about time I do a post of all my favourite Harry Potter videos.

I haven't changed the design yet because I really like this one. It's getting kind of old though. What do you think? Time for a change?

Why I'm Awake at 5 AM
I don't stay up until five am anymore, although Skyres does now. We still call it Demon Puddle, although it has also been called Demon Pond, Demon Lake, and Demon Ocean, depending on the size.

Conspiracy Theories: Attack of the Dissappearing Alien Meatballs

The other day I was at the grocery store looking for meatballs. They didn't have any, so I went to another grocery store. I couldn't find any there either. Finally I ended up going home without any meatballs. I found it weird that no one was selling meatballs, especially since they usually have six different kinds.

Theory #1
All the meatballs came to life, broke out of their packaging, and attacked everyone in the store. After this incident there was a worldwide recall and the meatballs were locked up in Area 51 where they will undergo extensive testing. In my opinion, the meatballs should just be sent to therapy, because they obviously have some sort of dark past that led to this violent outburst.

Theory #2
A government scientist discovered that meatballs are actually a) aliens, or b) from space. Again, all meatballs were locked up in Area 51 to undergo extensive testing. Hopefully these alien meatballs can be used to prevent an intergalactic war. If not, at least they're tasty.

Saunders Cancer Campaign

It's April, and that means Spring! Unless you're in Canada where it's still freezing and occasionally snowing (Grr). April means more than just spring though, it means it's time for the Saunders Secondary School Cancer Campaign!

Every year Saunders does everything it can to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. Last year we raised over $45,000, and we're trying to surpass the $40,000 mark again this year. For more info check out the Facebook page.
There are lots of events being held at the school to raise money, so if you live in the area check it out!

Even if you don't live in the area you can still donate! Just go here, and remember, all the money goes to cancer research. Even if you can only spare a few dollars, every little bit helps. You can also buy Cancer Campaign T-shirts!

Another super-easy way to support the campaign is to watch the Cancer Campaign video and send it to everyone you know.



Every year I'm amazed at how much support we receive, and how much we manage to raise. I'm hopeful that this year will be our best yet.

She knows everything about me, she knows my house better than I do, and we always have fun when we're together. Lame Exuses and Stuff

So, my exams start in a couple weeks, and I've got at least four projects to work on. You would think I'd be studying right? WRONG!

I've been working non-stop for the past few days on character designs and other stuff for my books. And I do mean non-stop. My family has spent most of the last few days yelling at me to get off the computer.

I've also been trying to come up with ideas for a fun new post for Completely Me. Still working on that.

The point is, I just want you all to know that I haven't abandoned you, I've just got a lot to work on. So keep your eyes open, cause I'll have lots of cool new stuff for you at the end of the month!
